This book it a great mystery about a middle school girl. Sammy Keyes lives with her grandmother because her father is gone and her mom is an actor in Hollywood. Sammy goes to her friend Dot’s house for a sleepover, and a mystery is unfolded. While they’re riding bikes with there other friend Marissa, they run into a lady and her pig. (Yes, a pig). Sammy becomes friends with the lady and she learns about a very old family feud between the lady’s family and there next door neighbors. When the Lady’s old shed that seems to be haunted by a pioneer women burns down, Sammy is the first to try and solve the mystery. Who was it, the neighbors, or maybe someone the woman trusted!
