Starting With Alice by: Phyllis Reynolds Naylor
Eight year-old Alice McKinley just started third grade and she has so many problems already. She really wants a mom and nice friends, but doesn’t have either. She doesn’t know anyone in Takoma Park, Maryland, except her next door neighbor Donald Sheavers.
