This book is about a kid named Bradley Chalkers. He tells many lies and picks fights with girls. His only friend is the new kid, Jeff Fishkins.They start out good, until things gets ugly. Bradley teachers are having a problem with him, they insist that he should see the new counsler, Carla. Carla likes Bradley and helps him do better in school. She knows Bradley can change but he is afraid to try. When Bradley feels that nobody in the school likes him, it’s hard for him to believe in himself.
My favorite part was when Bradley got beat up by this girl named Melinda and runs home crying. Then he lies and tells is mother his best friend, Jeff fishkins beat him up. Read this find out what happens next!

I read this book and loved it. It was hilarious. All of Louis Sachar's books are very funny.
