This book is about a girl named Mia Thermopolis who just recently figured out she is a princess! At first things go great for Mia she has friends who don’t know she’s a princess she has a loving family and she gets to live in the best place ever New York City, but everything isn’t going to well for Mia. Now she has to meet her grandmother (whom she isn’t to found of) after school for lessons, her best friend is starting to get a bit nosey, she isn’t the prettiest girl in school and she has a huge crush on two guys. All Mia wants to be is a regular teenager, but no she has to be Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo. Not only that but she’s flunking Algebra! How will things end up when she goes to her princess lessons? Will the school find out if she’s a princess? Will Mia pass Algebra, and more importantly who will she go to the dance with?
