This book is about a kid named Dan Walker and he is the smallest kid in his town. He plays on a basketball team for his town; he is on the B team. Tryouts are a week away and Danny is getting ready to tryout for the A team. Can he survive the tryouts and make the A team to play with his friend?

Young Danny Walker isn’t tall like all of the other basketball players in Middleton, but he has the heart. He tries out for Travel Team but something bad happens. He learns that his dad created his own Travel Team and Danny becomes involved. But a tragedy in Danny’s life will test him and the rest of the team.

This is a great story about friendship and never giving up. A bunch of misfits thrown together on a basketball team face the best team in the league. It is a wonderful book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
