THE COURT OF THE STONE CHILDREN by Eleanor Cameron

The Court of the Stone Children by Eleanor Cameron is about a girl named Nina who just moved from her hometown. She is comfortable and had many friends to a strange industrial town where everybody thinks she’s weird. She finds out about a French museum from a boy who she eventually befriends named Gil. When she visits it, she gets this strange ‘Museum Feeling’. She then meets a girl from Napoleon times named Dominique. Domi’s father was killed because he was trying to protect France. Nina has to solve the mystery of the innocence of Domi’s father, which has lasted more then two hundred years. I liked this book a lot. I liked this because it was full of suspense. When you finally think that you’ve figured out the mystery, you’re wrong. If you like historical fiction and murder mysteries, you’ll love this book.
