ISABEL OF THE WHALES by Hester Velmans

Isabel of the Whales by Hester Velmans

This book is about a girl who loves whales. One day her class went whale watching and she wanted to take pictures. She didn’t have a camera so she borrowed her brother’s camera. On the boat, she dropped the camera. She went after it and fell into the sea but did not die. Instead she turned into a whale. Her family was really worried when she did not go home. She had many adventures and also fell in love. She was a Chosen One so she had to learn many things about whales and she saved her whale-friend’s life. To find out more, read the book in the Scofield media center.

Roushan, I'm so glad that you read this book! It is such a good book. My favorite part was when Isabel enjoyed being a whale and when she rejoined her family. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes whales and/or interested in whales.
