The School Story by Andrew Clements

I read a book called The School Story and it was about two kids writing a children’s book and one of the two kids has a mother who is a book editor. They try to get the mother to edit the book. In order to have the girls’ mother edit, they make up an authors name and it works, but their mother is not the one who reads the book. What happens next? Read the book to find out.
