THE MILLION DOLLAR KICK by Dan Gutman

The Million Dollar Kick by Dan Gutman is about a girl who enters a raffle to shoot at a professional goalie, not expecting she will get picked. However she really does not play soccer. One day some one calls her house and says she won the raffle. He says if she makes the goal she will win one million dollars. She is not sure if she should take the kick because if she does not score the whole town will make fun of her. After thinking she decides she will take the kick.
