The Horror at the Haunted House by Peg Kehret.

Do you like horror books? Do you like spine tingling words that give you a chill? Then you should read The Horror at the Haunted House. The story begins about a house turned into a museum. They need to raise money for it so they decided to have a haunted house. They needed volunteers to work on the house so Ella and Cory decided they would help. Ella played the part of Joan of Arc in a school play and Cory played Prince Rufus. When Ella came to the museum she went into the collection room. The Wedgewood collection was worth $200,000. She couldn’t take her eyes off the fairy bowl. As she was looking at the bowl she sensed something very cold. It was the ghost Lydia. She was trying to tell her something. Every night the ghost would come to Ellen. The ghost wanted Ellen to go back to the museum to see the bowl. Read this story if you want to find out what happens next.
