THE TITAN'S CURSE By: Rick Riordan

The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan is about a boy named Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon the Sea God in Greek Mythology. He, unlike most children, is half-human and half god. His friend Grover, who is a satyr, has just discovered two new half bloods at an old military school. When trying to bring them to Camp Half-Blood, the only safe haven for half bloods, they are attacked by a manticore. Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt, saves the day, but Percy’s friend, Annabeth, is taken away. Percy must find and save Annabeth before it is too late. When Artemis disappears while hunting an animal that will change the fate of Olympus too, Percy must save her, also. Can he achieve this while trying to stop the evil Titan lord from taking over the world? Will the Olympians fall, and Kronos’ evil army take over? The only way to find out is by reading this excellent fantasy book by Rick Riordan.

I think this is a great novel that you have posted. This book shows great mythology of the greek history.

In this fun filled third adventure, Percy Jackson, a fourteen year old boy, sets out with his friends Grover, Thalia and Annabeth again. Suddenly one of Percy’s friends and a young goddess get kidnapped by a new enemy. While Percy and his allies are on their quest, Kronos the Titan lord is still reforming and becoming stronger. In this book you will meet new monsters and characters. Find out what Percy’s weakness is and what happens to his old enemy Luke. If you haven’t read the first two books, The Lightning Thief, and The Sea of Monsters you should read them first or you will be very confused.

This book is about a boy named Percy Jackson. He goes to find and bring back to camp two half-bloods but his best friend is captured. He then sets out on an adventure to find his friend. He faces many hard decisions along the way(one of which is to decide whether to take the weight of the sky from the God or to let her handle it) but makes the right choice in the end. You should read all three books in the series. They are each very well written and I recommend them all. In case you haven’t read the books, a “half-blood” is half God, half mortal.

The adventure continues in the last book of Percy Jackson and the Olympians! Percy is trying to find out who the demi-god is that is stated in the prophecy. During this book the prophecy comes to two conclusions and Percy has to make a choice (my favorite part). His friend, Thalia also has to make one, even bigger than Percy's. They are both children of two of "The Big Three(Greek gods)". So, Percy is a child of Poseidon, and Thalia is a daughter of Zeus. New characters appear in the book that didn't come before in this series. This book is very suspensful, because it uncovers mysteries that you would think would never happen. It is also very exciting! Rick Riordan is a great author and you will be saying the same thing after you take a copy of this adventurous book!

I read the Titan's Curse. I thought it was awsome. My favorite part was when They are all in the desert and a giant robot made by Hephaestus attacks them. I recomend the whole series. I also can't wait for the new book.
