It was an ordinary Halloween morning when it happened. It came out of nowhere. Bethany felt a slight pain and saw the water around her turn bright red with blood. “It” was a 15 foot tiger shark and it had bitten off Bethany’s entire left arm! The loss of her arm doesn’t keep this girl away from surfing, however. Soul Surfer is a true story about the life of an amazing girl named Bethany Hamilton who, with the help of her friends, family and God, will let nothing stand in her way of surfing.
